Måslia Seater
Experience a guided Icelandic horse ride at Sunnmøre near Ålesund. This ride excursion runs through open countryside with mountain views and past a beautiful waterfall, before stopping at Måslia setra for a break in the old barn. The old barn at Måslia setra and the excursion here are famous from the popular American reality series of 2021
**The excursion is also suitable for beginners and children and for more experienced riders, if necessary we divide the group so that the pace can be adjusted. **
New now: The transport takes place by private pickup from the port of Ålesund directly to Stall Kjellbotn and back again.
Transportation is included in the price of the ride. The transport part has the same price as before (200 kr per person), but is now included in the total price of the trip. You still get the same great drive of about an hour each way with views to the city, fjord and mountains.
The excursions are adapted to the arrival times of the cruise ships visiting Ålesund, but do not suit all arrivals, as some ships are in port for a short time.
The excursion lasts about 5 hours quay-to-quay.
It is also possible to order lunch at the same time as booking the excursion, and many choose this.
The excursion starts and ends at the port of Ålesund and includes transportation and horseback riding.
OBS OBS OBS EVEN IF THE BOOKING IS FULL, THERE MAY BE A GREAT CHANCE THAT WE CAN ACCOMMODATE ALIKAVEL, SO PLEASE CONTACT US.

In 1994 we started with riding camps and riding tours, and since then we have run our centre focusing on Icelandic horses only.
At the center we have skilled and experienced managers who are here to make the trip the best possible for each individual. We are very concerned about safety and want everyone to feel safe with us.
For several generations there has been a saddle operation with dairy cows at Skitnesetra on Ørskogfjellet.
The name Skitnesetra comes from the ancient location of the seat where it was usually wet and dirty. In retrospect, the seat has been moved higher up in a drier environment, but the name has been carried over to the new area where we are located.
