Måslia Seater
Experience the beautiful nature of Sunnmøre on a unique Icelandic horse, past a beautiful waterfall and surrounded by open countryside and mountain views. The trip goes to Måslia Setra, where we stop for lunch in the old barn before cycling back the same way. This tour is tailored for cruise passengers and is easily accessible by public transport.

From Ålesund Cruise Port, take bus 100 and get off at Fjellstova Ørskogfjellet.

Molde Cruise Port is about 10 minutes' walk to Molde Traffic Terminal; from there take bus 100 to Fjellstova Ørskogfjellet. This route includes a short ferry ride — just stay seated on the bus during the ferry ride.
Before booking it is important that you communicate by email so that we can help you choose the right bus time for the day your ship is in port. Please provide your ship arrival and departure times so that we can suggest the best bus time for your visit. This ensures that the guide meets you at the bus stop at the right time and has the horses ready for you.
The tour starts and ends at the equestrian center. After the ride, the guide will drive you back to the bus stop in time for the return journey to Ålesund or Molde.

In 1994 we started with riding camps and riding tours, and since then we have run our centre focusing on Icelandic horses only.
At the center we have skilled and experienced managers who are here to make the trip the best possible for each individual. We are very concerned about safety and want everyone to feel safe with us.
For several generations there has been a saddle operation with dairy cows at Skitnesetra on Ørskogfjellet.
The name Skitnesetra comes from the ancient location of the seat where it was usually wet and dirty. In retrospect, the seat has been moved higher up in a drier environment, but the name has been carried over to the new area where we are located.
